HUGO Build Guide
Ratings
Hugo — Overview
Hugo is a relentless Extra Attack specialist who thrives on follow-ups. His signature mechanic, Hunt Commence, fuels a chain of bonus attacks every time he or an ally uses a targeted Attack card. Each Hunt Commence stack (up to five) increases his damage, turning every assault into an escalating barrage. When a targeted Attack card is played, one stack is consumed, prompting Hugo to strike again instantly. The result is constant, high-impact damage that rarely lets up—Hugo turns every fight into a relentless hunt.
Strengths
- Exceptional and consistent single-target damage throughout the fight.
- Unique Hunt Commence mechanic ensures frequent follow-up attacks.
- Strong self-scaling through Hunt Commence’s stacking multiplier.
Weaknesses
- Limited AoE potential—only accessible via Ego Skill.
- Some cards feature random targeting and don’t trigger Hunt Commence.
- Relies heavily on frequent allied attacks to maximize Hunt Commence value.
- Hunt Commence only activates on targeted abilities.
